Sun and Stars Meet in Naantali
The Naantali Music Festival will be held for the 31st time next summer. Over the years, dozens of orchestras and hundreds of musicians from all over the world have appeared at the festival. We have heard more than a thousand chamber music concerts under the lofty vaults of Naantali’s mediaeval Convent Church, in idyllic island churches and numerous other concert venues.
Naantali has extended its borders towards the archipelago since the beginning of 2009, when the island municipalities of Rymättylä, Merimasku and Velkua became part of the municipal federation. Throughout its 31 year history Naantali Music Festival has anticipated the future by arranging performances in the archipelago.
